The factors affecting the quality of high-pressure airless spray coating are basically the same as those of air pressure spraying, but there are some specific differences.
(1) The viscosity of the paint should be compatible with the pressure of the paint. The lower the viscosity, the lower the pressure of the paint. On the contrary, the higher the viscosity of the paint, the higher the pressure of the paint. If the pressure is too low, the paint shape will not be normal. If the pressure is too high, the paint will flow or sag.
(2) Paint pressure, the paint pressure is proportional to the amount of paint sprayed, and has a greater influence on the spray paint shape. However, if the pressure is too high, there will be coating defects. Therefore, if you need to increase the amount of spraying, you should change the nozzle instead of simply increasing the pressure.
(3) Spraying distance is slightly longer than air spraying, generally 30~50cm.
(4) Spraying operation, the moving speed of the spray gun determines the thickness and uniformity of the coating. Generally, it is suitable for 50-80 cm/s. The choice should be based on nozzle size, paint viscosity and pressure, spray distance and spray amount. The spray angle is generally based on the principle of perpendicular to the surface of the workpiece. The width of the spray lap can be smaller, just overlap. If the wind speed in the spraying chamber is too large, the paint shape will be changed, which will affect the spraying quality. The wind speed is generally controlled at 0.3 m/s.
